Sustainable Design Resources is a consulting firm helping developers, building owners and designers practice sustainable planning, development, building design, construction and operation. We also consult with utilities and others to evaluate programs for the design community. (Sometime we create these programs.) As a result, we straddle both worlds as implementer and evaluator.
Sustainable Design Resources' services are diverse and comprehensive, including: LEED® and green building consulting, design tool development, research, measurement and evaluation, waste management evaluation and planning, and communication and education.
Chris Hammer, principal of Sustainable Design Resources, is a green building consultant, evaluator, market researcher, social scientist, publisher and innovator. Through GreenClips, which she published from 1994-2006, she gained a reputation as a trusted, nonbiased provider of information for practitioners and building owners.
SDR assisted the Desert Research Institute with LEED® for New Construction certification and consulting services for their Automatic Virtual Environment Building. more »
